New Jersey Department of Labor Issues New Wage Posters
The New Jersey Department of Labor recently issued two new posters that employers must post in the workplace, links to which are included below:
1. A new minimum wage poster listing the new rate of $8.25 per hour.
2. A new payment of wages poster that
a. lists health club membership fees and child care services under permissible deductions; and
b. includes the requirement that employers provide new hires with a required notice (form number MW-400) describing the employer’s obligation to maintain and report records regarding wages, benefits, taxes, and other contributions and assessments.
